Mark your calendar! We’re taking our kulfis (Indian ice-cream) to el Centro – come join us on Friday, July 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a kulfi event. Samples, as always, are free. Try, buy, hang out with us, we’d love to see you at El Salon, Luis Cordero 6-75 y President Cordova. Pre-orders for ½ liter blocks of kulfi, in layers of up to 3 flavors, will be accepted through Wednesday, July 26, for pick up at the Bazaar.
This time, we’ll be sharing a table with Nila of Nila’s Creations, who will display/sell her “Hair Turbans” to help dry wet hair, (and this means less use of a hair-dryer in this drying climate). Also on display/sale will be her “Dress Kitchen Towels” – a unique and fun way to make your kitchen/bar elegant and functional. See you at the Bazaar at El Salon on Friday.
Below is our menu for the week of July 23.
We also offer our weekly main dish (Butter Chicken/Paneer Makhani) in containers of 1-liter for $10, and bread (Naan) for $0.75 each, if clients do not wish to order the fixed thali platter. Please indicate your preference on the order form in the comments section. Orders close at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27.
Appetizer: Ondwa cupcakes with Tamarind chutney
